It's NDFB Week!

This year marks the 23rd anniversary of NDFB Week. The special week provides county Farm Bureaus with a unique opportunity to reach out to their communities and share the positive story of agriculture. This year we're focusing on Special Assignment Pizza, a program of the NDFB Promotion and Education Committee that teaches kids that one of their favorite foods -- pizza -- starts on a farm.

The theme for this year is "Telling the story of agriculture one slice at a time."

NDFB's On Your Table website has devoted an entire page to pizza. Check it out, and to kick-start the fun, take On Your Table's pizza topping poll!

And be checking On Your Table for pizza-inspired recipes as well as the nutritional benefits of our favorite food from registered dietitian Elizabeth Magee.   

We'll also be announcing the winners of the drawing contest for fourth and fifth grade students.
