Crockpot pizza

Crockpot pizza

by Becca Hennessy

If you haven't noticed by now, a majority of the recipes I like to share revolve around one key component - the crockpot!

In celebration of NDFB Week and this year's pizza theme, crockpot pizza was the next recipe to test out. This pizza recipe is a deep dish. Be sure to add all your favorite toppings! But most importantly, remember where each ingredient comes from and how important farmers and ranchers are who raise these products so we can eat pizza!

prepping a crockpot pizza recipe

  1. Add a liner to your crockpot or spray with cooking spray
  2. Take dough (thin crust) out of can and fold it in half. Place that crust at the bottom and fold sides up 1 inch through out.
  3. Add sauce, toppings of your choice and mozzarella. Repeat process until all ingredients are gone.
  4. Place crockpot on low for 1.5 -2 hours or until edges of crust are golden.
  5. Enjoy!
