Pepper French Dip

4 bell peppers, halved

1 tbsp. vegetable oil

1 1/2 lb. sirloin steak, sliced thin

1 large onion, sliced

16 oz. mushrooms, sliced

16 slices of cheese


Preheat oven to 325 degrees.

Place peppers in a large baking dish and bake until tender, 20 minutes.

Meanwhile heat oil in a large skillet over medium heat.

Add steak and cook about 1 minute per side. Set aside.

Add onion and mushrooms to skillet and saute until onions are translucent. 

Add a slice of cheese to bottom of each pepper, and top with steak mixture.

Top with another piece of cheese and broil for 3 minutes.
