NDFB Week
Location:
NDFB Week is March 8-14. This year's theme is "Harvesting Hope: For Healthy Minds and Safer Farms."
Agriculture thrives when people are supported, and during NDFB Week we will focus on hope, well-being, and safety, because caring for farmers, ranchers, and their families is just as important as caring for the land.
To bring attention to the important role we can all have to foster safety and resiliency on the farm, our drawing contest for students in grades 4 and 5 will ask them to show how "Farm Safety Starts With Me."
Students should create a drawing that shows how they help make the farm a safer place. The drawing should show that everyone-kids included-has a role in farm safety. Students should complete the sentence: "Farm safety starts with me when I __ _
Guidelines
• You must be in 4th or 5th grade to participate in the drawing contest.
• Artwork should illustrate a farm safety behavior or choice that helps prevent injuries.
