Farm safety every day
Each year since 1944, the third week of September has been recognized as National Farm Safety and Health Week. This annual promotion initiated by the National Safety Council has been proclaimed as such by each sitting U.S. President since Franklin D. Roosevelt. The theme this year is "Shift Farm Safety into High Gear." Learn more on the website.
NDFB provided funding for NDSU Extension's production of several farm safety videos. Watch the videos on our Farm Safety Videos page.
In addition, the AgriSafe Network has created a series of free webinars that are really easy to register for, and anyone can join. And these webinars will be going with the theme of the week to talk about preventing agricultural injuries, tractor safety and some tips for women who are working on the farm.
