President Johannes addresses attacks on agriculture
North Dakota Farm Bureau President Doyle Johannes voiced concern about increased attacks on agriculture in the media in an effort to push conservation measures in the state during his annual address at the NDFB 71st annual meeting, Nov. 22.

YF&R Discussion Meet winner announced
Sarah Domek of Wibaux, Mont. was named the Young Farmer and Rancher Discussion Meet winner, during the final round of competition at the North Dakota Farm Bureau 71st annual meeting.

NDFB President, directors elected to NDFB Board
Underwood farmer Doyle Johannes was elected to his second two-year term as president of North Dakota Farm Bureau during the 71st annual meeting at the Ramkota in Bismarck, November 22-23.

2014 North Dakota Farm Bureau Priority Issues
Following the close of the 71st NDFB Annual Meeting, members of the organization’s Public Finance and Education Committee and Agriculture and Environment Committee met to prioritize the issues. The list of priorities was then approved by the NDFB Board of Directors.

2014 NDFB Farm and Ranch Conference
North Dakota Farm Bureau Young Farmers and Ranchers are  hosting the Farm and Ranch Conference at the Holiday Inn, Minot, January 31-February 2.

Collegiate Discussion Meet winners
The North Dakota Farm Bureau Collegiate Discussion Meet contest is designed to simulate a committee meeting where discussion and active participation are expected from each college-age participant.
