Independence, responsibility and $500

Being a new driver on the road is an exciting moment in a teenager’s life. It allows us the freedom to hang out with our friends or drive to a game. Now that I have my license, I know the feeling of having the freedom to drive to the places I want to go. But this also means more responsibility, like making sure I am home before curfew. Having a license also allows me to be helpful around the house like helping my parents with groceries or jobs.

I felt excited when I got my driver’s license. I finally had the independence to drive by myself, going to places that I want to go, and not having to ask my parents to take me there or drop me off.
