One person can make a difference

In one sense, the House of Delegates at the NDFB State Annual Meeting is the culmination of months or even years of thoughtful deliberation by NDFB members leading to our organizational policy on a variety of public issues. The same would be true for our national AFBF policy book, only multiplied by the roughly 3,000 active county Farm Bureaus across the country. The thought that one idea, from one county Farm Bureau volunteer can work its way through the entire process and become a part of American Farm Bureau’s priorities and change federal law or a federal government program, is what makes Farm Bureau the greatest grassroots-driven organization in America.
