The cycle of education

Topic: Leadership

By Jill Vigesaa, NDFB Food, Land & People Coordinator

Another season of summer workshops with North Dakota teachers has sped by once again and I am finally heading back home! It is time to change gears as I jump right into coordinating and scheduling school programs for Tom Gibson and planning our fall Food, Land & & People online classes. The cycle of education continues year around!

Ginger and I both look forward to working with teachers from across the state as we hold our two-day credit classes. This summer we held six classes, with three of them being new classes/new credits. Offering new classes each summer requires of lot of study and preparation as we continually try to bring the newest and latest innovations in education to our teachers. We can make great connections with STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Math) since agriculture is fundamentally all of these!
